Aston Martin Faces Unreliability and Stroll’s Struggles at Circuit of The Americas
During the first hour of running at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, most drivers managed to complete around 23-26 laps. However, Aston Martin had a challenging start to the race weekend, with Lance Stroll only able to complete five laps and his teammate Fernando Alonso limited to 18 laps.
This setback will prove to be particularly costly for Aston Martin as they are currently trying to validate an upgraded floor and bodywork. Additionally, the sprint race format means that the team will have to quickly move into the Grand Prix without much track time to fine-tune their setup.
