Champion Tanak Dominates WRC Chile

The 2019 world champion put on a commanding performance at WRC Chile, winning four out of the six stages and establishing an impressive 58.3s lead in his Ford Puma. Starting the day with a 4.2s advantage over Suninen, Tanak’s exceptional tire strategy played a crucial role in extending his lead.

An inspired tire call during the morning loop allowed Tanak to increase his lead to a substantial 47.8s. However, it was his masterful tire management in the afternoon that enabled him to maintain his momentum and further solidify his position at the top.

Thierry Neuville from Hyundai rounded off the day in third place with a gap of 1m03.0s behind the leader. While the championship fight remains intense, Tanak’s dominant performance has certainly put him in a strong position for victory.
