In an official statement released on Monday, the governing body announced that Andretti Autosport was the sole applicant being advanced to the final stage of selection.
FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem expressed his satisfaction with the team selection process, stating that it had been carefully conducted to ensure the most appropriate candidate was chosen.
