Inspection Reveals No Irregularities in DTM Engines

The German motorsport federation, DMSB, recently concluded an extensive inspection to examine the engines of drivers Thomas Preining, Mirko Bortolotti, and Ricardo Feller. Following this unusually long but routine inspection, the DMSB has confirmed that no irregularities were found.

The inspection process, which spanned almost two weeks, was undertaken to demonstrate the DMSB’s commitment to closely monitoring the legality of engine parts as the season reaches its climax at Hockenheim.

The DMSB’s decision to conduct a thorough investigation serves as a clear message to both teams and manufacturers participating in the championship. By ensuring compliance with regulations, the DMSB aims to maintain fair competition and uphold the integrity of the sport.

With the inspection now concluded and no irregularities detected, drivers Preining, Bortolotti, and Feller can continue to compete with confidence, knowing that their engines meet the necessary standards.
