Martin Tops First Practice Session at Indonesian GP
MotoGP rider Martin secured the fastest time in the first practice session at the Indonesian Grand Prix. Riding his Pramac Ducati, Martin set a time of 1m31.811s with just 40 seconds remaining on the clock. This placed him at the top of the timesheets, edging out Vinales by a narrow margin of 0.102s.
Vinales Holds Early Lead, but Martin Snatches Pole Position
Vinales had been the frontrunner for almost the entire 45-minute session at the Mandalika circuit. He held the top spot and even managed to improve his time on his last attempt, finding over a tenth of a second. However, Martin’s late charge saw him take pole position, pushing Vinales into second place.
