Morbidelli’s Journey as a Yamaha Rider in MotoGP

Morbidelli has been a Yamaha rider in MotoGP since 2019. After spending two seasons with Marc VDS Honda, he joined Petronas SRT. During his time with SRT, Morbidelli won all three of his grands prix on an M1.

Halfway through the 2021 season, a split occurred between Maverick Vinales and the factory Yamaha squad. As a result, Morbidelli was given the opportunity to be promoted and join the factory Yamaha team.

However, Morbidelli has been struggling to find his form on the factory Yamaha. Due to his performance, the Japanese marque made the decision to replace him.

This change in the team dynamics has put Morbidelli under immense pressure. Determined to make the most out of his remaining races as a Yamaha rider, he is giving his all on the track.
