Neuville Holds off Ogier to Maintain Narrow Lead in WRC Greece

Thierry Neuville, representing Hyundai, showcased his skill and determination at the WRC Greece rally as he held off Sebastien Ogier to maintain a narrow lead. Although Neuville only secured a victory in one of the five stages on Friday, his consistent performance allowed him to stay ahead of Ogier, who aimed to conquer the Acropolis once again, 2.8 seconds behind.

Leading the championship and serving as the overnight rally leader, Kalle Rovanpera faced the challenge of starting first on the road. However, he managed to minimize the impact and ended Friday in third place, 25.5 seconds adrift from Neuville. Meanwhile, his Toyota competitor, Elfyn Evans, trailed behind by a further 5.5 seconds.
