Tanak Extends Lead in Thrilling Gravel Event

As the gravel event reached its final service, Ott Tanak found himself with a slightly reduced lead of 51.6 seconds over Hyundai’s Teemu Suninen. However, the pressure was mounting for Suninen as his Hyundai teammate Thierry Neuville closed in at +58.3 seconds.

In the morning’s stages, Neuville showcased his skills by winning two stages, putting himself in contention for a higher position on the leaderboard. Meanwhile, Toyota’s Elfyn Evans held onto fourth overall, trailing behind the leading trio with a gap of 1 minute and 19.1 seconds.

Another significant contender in the title race, Kalle Rovanpera, occupied fifth place with a time gap of 2 minutes and 7.8 seconds from the leader. The third Toyota driver continued to give his best to close in on the front-runners.

The competition remained fierce as each driver pushed themselves to the limit in pursuit of victory. With the finish line drawing near, all eyes were on Tanak as he aimed to secure his spot at the top of the podium.
