Neuville takes the lead
Neuville completed the rally’s first loop of gravel stages with a slender 2.0s advantage ahead of overnight leader Rovanpera. Despite starting first on the road, Rovanpera impressed with his performance.
Ogier’s return to WRC
Toyota’s Sebastien Ogier, on his WRC return, reached the morning tyre fitting zone in third place with a gap of 4.6 seconds behind the leader. The experienced driver demonstrated his skill and competitiveness in the race.
Tanak and Evans’ positions
M-Sport’s Ott Tanak secured the fourth position, 8.3 seconds behind the leader. Meanwhile, title contender Elfyn Evans finished fifth, 12.5 seconds adrift.
