FDM Jyllandsringen was founded in 1966 by contractor SK Jensen, who built the track on top of an old gravel pit. The first year of the track’s lifetime, motorsport was the only activity, but already the following year, FDM began to run driving technical courses.
In 1974, FDM bought Jyllandsringen and expanded in 1986 with a maneuvering yard, as it became a compulsory part of driving lessons for driving school students.
