About Race Track World

Race Track World is an independent guide to the world's race tracks, edited by Jimmy Buchanan. It covers 454 circuits in 73 countries, from Formula 1 venues to club tracks, ovals and kart circuits.

What we publish

• •Track guides. Each one covers the layout and named corners, the main annual events, how to get there, where to stay and the lap records. 160 guides list the sim racing games that include the track, and 16 list track days and driving experiences you can book.
• •Track day guides. HPDE explained, a first track day checklist, what a track day costs and how track day insurance works, for cars and motorcycles.
• •Gear guides. Buyer's guides and head-to-head comparisons for sim racing and track days, plus gift guides.
• •Sim racing track list. Which real circuits are in which sim racing games, checked against each publisher's own track list.

How we work

We can't drive every circuit or test every product, and we don't claim to. Every guide lists its sources and the date it was last checked. Every gear pick carries a label that says where the advice comes from: tested by us, owner-reported, or spec-checked. The rules behind those labels are on How we research and test.

How the site is paid for

Some links to shops and booking sites earn us a commission, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide which products we pick. The details are in our affiliate disclosure.

Corrections

Track details change: events move, prices rise and layouts get rebuilt. If you spot something wrong, email info@racetrackworld.com with the page and what needs fixing. We check it against the source and update the guide's date when we correct it.
