Moscow Raceway is a Hermann Tilke-designed circuit built on flat farmland about 97 km west of Moscow, near the villages of Sheludkovo and Fedyukovo in Volokolamsky District. The facility offers a modular set of layouts rather than a single fixed lap: the full circuit runs to 4.070 km over 21 turns, with several shorter Grand Prix and Sprint configurations cut out of it, including the 3.955 km, 15-turn Grand Prix layout typically used for the venue's biggest events. A long back straight of roughly 873 metres gives the layout a clear top-speed section to offset its tighter infield turns.

Moscow Raceway is roughly 97 km west of central Moscow in Volokolamsky District, Moscow Oblast, and is normally reached by car; there is no rail station immediately at the circuit, though Volokolamsk itself has a railway connection on the line running west from Moscow. Russia's first major international circuit
Moscow Raceway opened on 13 July 2012 in Volokolamsky District, Moscow Oblast, becoming the first purpose-built, internationally homologated race circuit in modern Russia. A hub for international racing
