The Smolenskoye Koltso Autodrome is an international Russian racing track designed for circuit races. The length of the track is 3357 meters, the width of the track is 12-15 meters. Hermann Tilke, the “court architect of Formula 1”, took part in the development of the configuration of the race track. The master made the most interesting use of the terrain features, as a result of which the car races on the “Smolensk Ring” are truly spectacular.
The design of the race track was made in accordance with the requirements of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) for the tracks of the second category, and the first category according to the classification of the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF). After the autodrome has obtained a license on the Smolensk Ring circuit, it will be possible to hold circuit races of all classes, except for Formula 1.
