Hulkenberg Disappointed with Haas F1 Progress

The German driver, Nico Hulkenberg, has voiced his disappointment regarding the lack of progress made by the Haas F1 Team. Hulkenberg believes that his pace during qualifying for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix confirms that the team has been “overtaken and out-developed” by their rivals.

Haas introduced a major new package during the United States GP in an effort to improve performance. However, the results were inconclusive, leading the team to allow their drivers to follow their personal preferences for the last two races of the season.

Hulkenberg’s comparison of his older spec VF-23 to his teammate Kevin Magnussen’s upgraded model in qualifying highlights the disparity between the two cars. This further emphasized Hulkenberg’s belief that the team has fallen behind in terms of development.

Speaking about the situation, Hulkenberg said, “It’s disappointing and upsetting to see that we have been overtaken and out-developed by our competitors. We need to critically evaluate our approach and find ways to catch up.”

Despite the setback, Hulkenberg remains optimistic about the future. He expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to analyze the data and make improvements for the upcoming season.

The Haas F1 Team will now shift its focus towards the next year’s car development, aiming to regain their competitive edge.
