Toyota WRC Dominates 2023

The Japanese brand has dominated the 2023 season, winning eight of the 12 events to date, and sealing a drivers’ and
manufacturers’ title double for the third consecutive season.

Toyota claimed a sixth constructors’ crown in Chile before Kalle Rovanpera wrapped up a second drivers’ title at
Central European Rally last month.

However, the team still has one objective still to complete, which is to claim victory on home soil.

A home victory has proven elusive for Toyota in recent years, with their closest attempt coming in 2021 when
Sebastien Ogier finished as runner-up.

Toyota will have the opportunity to secure this long-awaited win at Rally Japan, the final event of the 2023 World
Rally Championship (WRC) season.

With the drivers’ and manufacturers’ titles already secured, Toyota’s drivers will be free to fully attack and give
their all in their quest for the elusive home victory.

This season has been a showcase of Toyota’s dominance, with their drivers consistently delivering outstanding
performances.

Kalle Rovanpera, at just 22 years old, has been a standout performer with his aggressive driving style and
remarkable speed.

Teammate Sebastien Ogier, a seven-time world champion, has once again showcased his experience and skill, proving to
be a strong asset for the team.

Toyota’s success in the 2023 season can be attributed to their exceptional teamwork, reliable cars, and the skill
and determination of their drivers.

As the final event approaches, all eyes will be on Toyota as they strive to secure the elusive home victory and end
the season on a high note.
