Race Tracks in Australia
Australia has one of the densest and most varied motorsport scenes outside Europe and North America, with well over sixty active venues spanning road courses, dirt and bitumen ovals, drag strips, hillclimbs, motocross tracks and karting circuits. The flagship is Mount Panorama at Bathurst, home of the Bathurst 1000, but the Supercars Championship also visits purpose-built road courses such as Sandown, Symmons Plains, Winton, Queensland Raceway and The Bend, plus temporary street circuits at Albert Park (Australian Grand Prix), Adelaide, the Gold Coast and Newcastle's former harbourside layout. Venues cluster around the state capitals: Sydney has Sydney Motorsport Park and several speedways, Melbourne has Sandown and Calder Park, Perth has Wanneroo/Barbagallo and Perth Motorplex, and Adelaide has Mallala and Tailem Bend. Drag racing is strong at Willowbank, Sydney Dragway and Perth Motorplex, while dirt speedway and motocross scenes run through regional Australia. Several historic circuits — Oran Park, Amaroo Park, Catalina Park, Longford, Warwick Farm — have closed but remain part of the country's motorsport heritage.
103 venues listed across 9 categories. Venues with a full RaceTrackWorld guide are linked.

Track days and driving experiences in Australia
Track days in Australia run through operators such as Driving Solutions, Trackschool, Track Days Australia and manufacturer-run experiences (Porsche, Ferrari, BMW), typically at Sydney Motorsport Park, Winton, Phillip Island, Queensland Raceway and Wanneroo. A standard open-pit-lane day costs roughly AUD 250-500 depending on venue and car group, while manufacturer track experiences and endurance-format days run from AUD 600 upward. Motorcycle track days are run separately by operators such as Slide Guys, California Superbike School and state motorcycling bodies at the same circuits. Karting, drag racing test-and-tune nights and drift days are widely available on a pay-per-session basis at most of the circuits and strips listed above, and are the cheapest way to get on a real racetrack.
